I want to switch back to apple mail. I am currently using Microsoft outlook 2011 for mac. I would like to transfer all my mailboxes including the attachments present in them, my address book to vcard and also the contacts to ical. I have tried to import through the import option in apple mail but it doesn't show outlook 2011.   I am using Mac OS X (10.7.4).   Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for help.

#1 - Your question is actually related to <Apple Mail> which would probably be best posed in one of the relevant Apple support forums for Apple Mail

or if you want to pose the question from the Outlook 2011 side

#2 - You are likely to get a much better response from Apple users using Outlook '2011 who may also be familiar with moving info between <Outlook 2011> and <Apple Mail> by posing your question in

You can use an intermediary IMAP server, or simply create corresponding folders in Finder and drag and drop the messages from within Outlook to that folder. Then you can import to Mail from those folders/files.
